Play Groups at Belding Memorial Library

Ashfield’s Play Group started back up this fall at Belding Memorial Library.

This group is open to all children, siblings, and their caregivers. Play group will vary activities based on attendance and the group’s needs. The group will meet in the community room downstairs in the library, outside as weather and interest allow.

We meet Monday afternoons and Friday mornings, typically following Mohawk Trails School District School Calendar for closures and vacations. Special events will be posted on WordPress, Facebook, and often on Belding Memorial Library’s website.

Monday afternoons 3:00-4:30 Game Play—
School aged kids, simple activities for younger children play classic games after school with friends, siblings, and their caregivers. Bring your favorite games, check out what we are playing each month, or create your own games.  
Friday afternoons 9:30-11:00 Play Group—
Toddlers & younger children enjoy developmental play with siblings and their caregivers followed by a light snack, water, and coffee/tea for adults.

This group is run by volunteers and not currently affiliated with any groups or funded, beyond the donation of Library meeting space.
